Hello!
My name is Paul and I am an Animator and multimedia artist residing within Los Angeles, CA. My animation and video work has been featured in several festivals and galleries around the world as well as featured online. I specialize in 2D animation but my experience stretches across the entire video production spectrum.
In my free time I like to ride my bike with friends, create music with a collection of odd-ball synthesizers, or watch obscure sci-fi, horror, and noir movies. I volunteer for The American Cinematheque and local bike coops whenever my schedule permits. I also host my own open mic and variety show titled Free Therapy. I graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2013 where I learned traditional hand drawn animation from Philo Barnhart, a legendary Disney animator and artist. Thanks Philo! I also learned conceptual skills, to capture the essence of the subject with whatever medium was at hand. My favorite class was figure drawing <3
Outside of my 12 years of creative experience I've been a barista, bus boy, summer camp counselor, custodian, maintenance crew member, theater usher, and amusement park employee. All of this experience has influenced my professional career resulting in a well-rounded, goal-focused, customer service oriented work ethic. I do my best to deliver quickly and efficiently whatever digital assets you need for your project or campaign.
